The long-awaited premiere of the play "Duck Hunting" will take place on March 19 and 20 at the State National Russian Drama Theater named after Chyngyz Aitmatov. The Ministry of Culture, Information and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic announced this event.
The play is based on a play by Alexander Vampilov and represents a mystical drama centered around a man who once missed a shot in life. Since that moment, he lives in constant anticipation of that shot.
The main character, Viktor Zilov, finds himself trapped in his inner emptiness, immersing himself in a world where all faces are hidden behind masks, and rain seeps into his room. The past does not leave; it only watches him.
The director of the production is Kristina Foikina.
