- The Ministry of Economy intends to develop a unified national system that will provide guarantees for loans to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). These plans are outlined in the draft Program for the Support and Development of SMEs in the Kyrgyz Republic until 2030.

It is expected that the implementation of this system will begin in the first quarter of 2027.

The new system will be integrated with the electronic platform "SME Hub" being created.

According to information from the Ministry of Economy, it is planned to organize the process of issuing guarantees through a "single window" mechanism, providing guarantee coverage of up to 50-90% of the loan amount for SMEs that cannot provide sufficient collateral. The Ministry expects to support at least 1,000 borrowers annually, of which at least 60% will be enterprises from the regions.

It is anticipated that the average processing time for guarantee applications will not exceed 10 working days.
