In her speech, she noted that local residents have been demanding the construction of a reservoir for 15 years, yet this project has still not been realized.
According to the deputy, the creation of a reservoir could significantly improve conditions for farmers by providing them with the necessary water for irrigation, as well as contribute to the development of production for entrepreneurs and attract investors for the construction of small hydroelectric power stations.
Akhmedova urged the government, the Ministry of Water Resources, and local authorities to intensify their efforts to resolve this issue, conduct the necessary research, and secure funding for the construction of the reservoir.
