New Vehicles Transferred to the National Academy of Sciences
As part of the event held on February 24, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Edil Baisalov, handed over the keys to 26 new vehicles to representatives of the National Academy of Sciences, as reported by the press service of the government agency.
These vehicles were purchased for a total of 44,800,000 soms and are intended to strengthen the material and technical base of the Academy's scientific institutions, which will allow for archaeological, geological, geophysical, and biological research, as well as other field scientific expeditions.
During the ceremony of handing over the vehicles, Baisalov emphasized that the state actively supports the National Academy of Sciences: the institute's building has been completely renovated, and staff salaries have been doubled. He noted that the new vehicles would facilitate scientific research and expeditions in remote regions of the country and assist in addressing state scientific and scientific-technical tasks.
The Deputy Chairman also added that the state will continue to pay attention to the development of the scientific sector, emphasizing the need for innovative solutions and the real contribution of science to the country's economic growth.
The President of the National Academy of Sciences, Kanatbek Abdrakhmatov, in turn, expressed gratitude to the country's leadership for the support provided.
