- During the meeting of the Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh on industrial policy, transport, the fuel and energy sector, architecture, and construction, which took place on February 24, 2026, Deputy Bakhridin Shabazov proposed to replace the power lines in the village of Druzhba, pointing out that the poles are in critical condition and require immediate intervention.

Energy Minister Talaybek Ibraev assured those present that this issue would be resolved in the near future.

In addition, Shabazov noted that there is a lack of lighting in several villages, to which the minister responded that the responsibility for lighting lies with the local authorities.

During the meeting, information about the current affairs of the Ministry of Energy and its future development was also discussed.
