KR and TRON Discussed Strategic Cooperation in the Development of Virtual Assets
The head of the Secretariat of the National Council for the Development of Virtual Assets and Blockchain Technologies under the President, Farhat Iminov, held a video conference with Justin Sun, the founder of TRON, a well-known global blockchain platform. During this online meeting, as reported by the secretariat, Iminov presented information about the work of the National Council, current trends in the virtual asset market, as well as significant institutional and regulatory changes.
Justin Sun noted that the virtual asset market in Kyrgyzstan is showing active development and emphasized that there are great opportunities for collaboration and project implementation with TRON. The expansion of the Kyrgyz national stablecoin KGST, which is already listed on leading global cryptocurrency exchanges, including HTX, closely linked to the TRON ecosystem, was also discussed. During the discussion, the parties considered potential synergy opportunities with TRON's infrastructure to enhance KGST, including technology integration and expanding its online platform for transactions.
TRON is one of the key blockchain ecosystems actively used for transactions with stablecoins (e.g., USDT). The network is renowned for its high throughput and a large user base exceeding 360 million people worldwide. In many countries, TRON is the preferred platform for creating digital financial instruments, including stablecoins.
