The Ministry of Economy reported on the trade dynamics of Kyrgyzstan within the EAEU.
He emphasized that Kyrgyzstan has become a full-fledged member of the Eurasian Economic Union, which ensures the existence of a single customs space and the free movement of goods, services, and capital among the member countries.
According to Murataliev, the main trading partners of the republic remain Russia and Kazakhstan. From 2021 to 2025, mutual trade between Kyrgyzstan and the EAEU countries increased by 1.7 times: exports rose by 45%, while imports increased by almost 1.8 times.
According to data from the National Statistical Committee, in 2025, the volume of mutual trade reached 5.924 billion US dollars, which is 7.7% higher than the figures for 2024. Imports amounted to 4.772 billion dollars (an increase of 25%), while exports fell by 32%, totaling 1.152 billion dollars.
The share of EAEU countries in Kyrgyzstan's foreign trade turnover in 2025 was 37.4%, including 40.4% in exports and 36.8% in imports.
“In the structure of exports to the union countries, the main goods are dairy products, fish, vegetables, fruits, nuts, textiles, and light industry products, as well as glassware and other consumer goods. At the same time, key import positions include energy resources, raw materials, and intermediate goods, including natural and liquefied gas, petroleum products, wheat, flour, vegetable oil, sugar, as well as construction materials and metals,” noted Murataliev.
