The initiator of this draft law was the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers. Deputy Minister of Energy Nasipbek Kerimov emphasized that the main goal of the document is to create favorable conditions for the development of renewable energy sources and to attract investments. In particular, it is proposed to raise the capacity threshold for renewable energy facilities from 30 to 50 MW, which will enable the implementation of more efficient, sustainable, and modern projects that meet international standards and the strategic goals of the country in the field of "green" economy and energy security.
