The agency noted that from January to December 2025, the volume of imported potatoes significantly increased compared to the same period in 2024, when only 512 tons were imported for a total of $301 thousand.
The main source of potato supplies to Kyrgyzstan in 2025 was China, which accounted for 78% of the total import volume. Additionally, potatoes were imported from the following countries:
