Tokayev announced readiness to allocate a 'significant amount' to Trump's Peace Council

Kazakhstan, as one of the leading participants in the new Peace Council, expressed its readiness not only to financially support the initiative but also to offer assistance in the humanitarian sphere and to participate in stabilization missions.

The inauguration of the Council took place at the Donald Trump Peace Institute in Washington. During the event, popular songs associated with Trump's election campaigns were played, and participants were given red caps with the inscription "USA".
"We are doing a very simple thing — establishing peace," noted Donald Trump, adding that achieving this goal requires not only words but also actions.

Trump also emphasized that the Council should become a new tool for resolving global conflicts and announced the allocation of 10 billion dollars for its operation. "This is a small amount compared to the costs of war," he noted.

The U.S. President expressed gratitude to all countries that agreed to support the reconstruction of Gaza, including Kazakhstan. "Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, UAE, Morocco, Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, and Kuwait are the countries that have made commitments," he added.

Trump reported that nine countries have already gathered a aid package amounting to 7 billion dollars, emphasizing that every investment is a step towards stability and hope for a peaceful region.

Speaking at the summit, Tokayev confirmed Kazakhstan's readiness to make a significant contribution to the work of the Council. He pointed out that peace requires practical actions, not just declarations.

"Kazakhstan is ready to immediately allocate significant funds to the Peace Council. We are considering financing the construction of infrastructure, housing, schools, hospitals, and other important facilities. We will fully meet our financial commitments to the world," the president stated.

Kazakhstan also offered humanitarian aid, emphasizing its role as one of the leading wheat producers. "We are ready to provide humanitarian assistance to ensure food security in Gaza and allocate over 500 educational grants for Palestinian students," he added.

Additionally, Tokayev announced Kazakhstan's readiness to participate in an international stabilization mission by sending medical units and observers.

The president highlighted the uniqueness of the Peace Council, noting that it is an unprecedented initiative. "This is a step towards creating peace that requires joint efforts," he said.

In conclusion, Tokayev proposed to hold meetings of the Peace Council in Kazakhstan and to establish an award named after Trump, recognizing his contribution to promoting peace. Thus, Kazakhstan, at the first meeting of the Council, positioned itself as an active participant with specific financial and humanitarian commitments.
