The First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, Daniyar Amangeldiev, made a statement at a round table dedicated to the issues of digitalization of public administration and regional development. This was reported by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers.
In his speech to the participants, which included international partners and local experts, Amangeldiev highlighted the positive dynamics of the country's economic growth. According to him, by 2025, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Kyrgyzstan will reach 2 trillion soms, which is twice the figures of 2022. He noted that such results have become possible due to systemic reforms, but emphasized that the main task of the government remains to ensure harmonious growth in all regions.
"Modern economic realities require the introduction of modern management methods. We are transitioning from fragmented paper processes to a unified digital management system that includes planning, budgeting, implementation, and monitoring. This system must operate in a digital format and be integrated at both central and local levels," said the First Deputy Chairman.
Amangeldiev emphasized the need to transition to digital management, which encompasses all stages: from planning to monitoring, and must be integrated at all levels of government.During his speech, he also mentioned the state automated information system "Sanarip Aymak," which creates a unified digital space for managing regions, ensures operational data exchange between agencies, and centralizes databases. This system will serve as the foundation for implementing territorial development strategies based on a unified methodology.
Daniyar Amangeldiev thanked international partners for their support in implementing digital initiatives. The project "Effective Management for Economic Growth," which was launched with the support of the UK government and the World Bank, has become an important tool for creating modern digital solutions and institutional mechanisms, which has facilitated the acceleration of reforms.
Additionally, he noted the need to simplify procedures, enhance the qualifications of state and municipal employees, and clearly delineate responsibilities at different levels of government.
In conclusion of his speech, Daniyar Amangeldiev expressed confidence that the transition to data-driven management will significantly improve the quality of life for citizens across Kyrgyzstan.
