The National Historical Museum hosted a solemn ceremony dedicated to the results of the work of the Ministry of Culture, Information and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic over the past year. Within the framework of the event, musical instruments were handed over for vocal-instrumental ensembles (VIA) in cultural and artistic institutions.

The project to create VIAs started in June 2025, with the main goal being to support young performers, develop musical culture, and expand the opportunities of educational institutions.

During the implementation of the project, 21 educational institutions across the republic were selected, for which quality musical instruments were purchased, inspected, and ready for use.

"About 20 million soms were spent on the implementation of the project, with the cost of each set being approximately 1 million soms, including all taxes. We selected musical educational institutions in Bishkek, such as the Kyrgyz State University of Culture and Arts named after Beyshenalieva, the Kurenkiev College, and the Abdraev Boarding School.

Additionally, we chose regions — those schools that are most ready to create VIA groups, possessing sufficient personnel potential. This year, we plan to purchase another 30 sets, which will be handed over to other educational institutions. Next year, we plan to buy about 50 sets, which will allow us to equip all musical institutions in the country within two years," said the Minister of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy, Mirbek Mambetaliev.

This initiative aims to create modern conditions for revealing the talents of youth, developing ensemble performance, and improving the level of national pop-instrumental art.
