Kyrgyzstan Increased Sugar Production to 4.6 Billion Som by 2025
The production volume at current prices amounted to 4 billion 632.6 million soms, which significantly exceeds the result of 2024, when it was 4 billion 109.3 million soms. The physical volume index reached 172.1%, while in 2024 it was at 111.8%.
However, in December 2025, there was a decline in production volumes. In the last month of the year, sugar worth 772.2 million soms was produced, which is less than the 1 billion 68.8 million soms produced in December 2024. The physical volume index in December was 98.8%, which is a decrease compared to 138.1% in December of the previous year.
Thus, despite the decline in December, the sugar industry demonstrated confident growth in production indicators overall for the year 2025.
