The Cabinet approved the transfer of the investment contract for the Chaarat project to new investors.
The approved documents include:
an agreement to waive claims related to the Chaarat project;
an agreement on the transfer of rights and obligations under the 2019 stabilization agreement from previous investors to new participants.

Background
It was previously reported that the Canadian company Silvercorp Metals Inc. (TSX: SVM) signed a deal to acquire 70% of the shares of Chaarat Gold Holdings Limited, which holds the license for gold mining in the "Tulkubash" and "Kyzylbash" areas, as well as in the adjacent exploration territories covering a total area of 27.42 square kilometers in the Tian Shan, Kyrgyzstan.
On January 16, the Cabinet approved a draft cooperation agreement between the government, Silvercorp Metals, Inc., and the closed joint-stock company "Chaarat ZAV" for the development of the "Tulkubash" and "Kyzylbash" areas within the Chaarat project.
