In Kyrgyzstan, 4 million tons of cement and 5 million tons of coal were produced in 2025, - National Statistics Committee

In Kyrgyzstan, in 2025, there is a positive trend in key industrial sectors, as reported at a press conference by Ainura Mamanova, head of the industrial and energy statistics department.

According to her data, the volume of construction materials production increased by 36.6% compared to the previous year. In particular, cement production rose by 37.4%, amounting to over 4 million tons, which is 1 million tons more than in 2024.
Pharmaceutical products also showed significant growth — their volume increased 1.7 times due to the expansion of drug production. The textile, clothing, and footwear sector saw an increase of 10%, with clothing production rising by 16%.
The volume of petroleum products production increased by 3%. This year, more than 185 thousand tons of gasoline were produced, which is 15% more than in 2024, or 24 thousand tons more compared to the previous year.
The chemical industry showed a growth of 20%. Soap and detergent production increased by 15%, while the production of paints and varnishes rose by 24%.
Mining of mineral resources increased by 14.2%, which was a result of a 22% increase in the extraction of metallic ores and a 10% increase in coal. In 2025, about 5 million tons of coal were mined, which is 517 thousand tons more than the previous year.
Electricity, gas, and steam production increased by 11.2%. Over the year, about 16 billion kWh of electricity were generated, of which 87% is provided by hydropower plants.
The manufacturing industry constitutes the main part of industrial production, accounting for 80% of the total volume. Of this share, 60% is attributed to the production of basic metals, while 70% is made up of food production, 10% of construction materials, 4% of textiles and clothing, and 3% of petroleum products.
