The volume of Kyrgyzstan's foreign trade decreased by 10.2% in 2025, - National Statistics Committee
According to the provided data, export deliveries amounted to $2.8 billion, indicating a decrease of 44.5%. This reduction occurred due to a 22% decrease in supplies to CIS countries and a 59.5% decrease to countries outside the CIS.
In contrast, import revenues reached nearly $13 billion, increasing by 3.9% compared to the previous year. This dynamic was driven by a 23.8% growth in supplies from CIS countries. In the overall trade turnover, the share of exports was 18%, while imports accounted for 82%.
According to preliminary data, the trade volume with EAEU members in 2025 amounted to approximately $5.9 billion, which is 7.7% more than in 2024. Exports to these countries exceeded $1.1 billion, but decreased by 31.9%. At the same time, imports from the EAEU increased by 25.2%, totaling $4.8 billion.
Trade with third countries outside the EAEU amounted to $9.9 billion, which also resulted in a decrease of 18.4% compared to the previous year.
The key partners of Kyrgyzstan in exports were Russia (22.9% of total exports), Kazakhstan (15.9%), Switzerland (15.4%), Uzbekistan (14.2%), the United Kingdom (8.2%), China (5.4%), the United Arab Emirates (4.3%), and Turkey (2.7%).
