Japarov also commented on rumors that he began to dismiss ministers appointed by Tashiev. "I did not order anyone to leave. Let them work. If someone decides to leave of their own accord, we will not hold them back. However, if facts of embezzlement are revealed, everyone will bear responsibility, regardless of their connections," he emphasized.

— Are you dismissing the ministers appointed by Tashiev?

— I did not tell anyone to leave. They can continue their work. If someone decides to leave on their own, that is their choice. But in the event of any crimes being uncovered, everyone will bear responsibility, regardless of kinship.

The president also noted that he has never promoted his relatives to high positions. "When I was criticized for having 'two in-laws in power,' I asked them to leave, even though they held their positions before I came," he added.

— Is there a threat of a coup?

— No. No circumstances allow this to happen. The country should be governed by reason, not by force. We must remember what happened to Kurmanbek Bakiev and Almazbek Atambayev.

Japarov noted that he works 20 hours a day and monitors the situation in the country. "Mistakes happen, but 70-80% of processes are under control," he emphasized.

— Will the crime rate increase?

— Organized crime is no more and will not be. It is impossible to completely eradicate crime, but there will be no more 'watchers' and 'appointed ones.' Many of them are already in prison or have left the country.

Kyrgyzstan has changed since 2020. We have no connections with crime.

As for corruption, it is present everywhere. Even in Singapore, which is considered a model, the level of corruption is 15-16%. It is impossible to completely eradicate it, but we will work on reducing this figure.

We quickly dealt with crime, and the fight against corruption continues and will continue.

— Have you met with Tashiev after his departure?

— Yes, I saw him yesterday evening. I advised him to rest and take care of his health. He said he had not communicated with 'advisors,' and it seems that some of them acted behind his back, doing him a 'disservice.'

We will restore order; we have enough strength for this.
