In response to this statement, the First Deputy Minister of Transport Beknazar Bazaraliev emphasized that quality control is one of the main tasks in the construction of roads. “The budget allocates funds for financing quality inspections of road construction. Specialists engaged in these inspections must be equipped with the appropriate tools and equipment, as well as conduct laboratory tests. Every new road must undergo such an inspection; however, we face a shortage of qualified specialists and laboratories, which prevents us from covering all roads,” noted Bazaraliev.
Kalilov, for his part, expressed the opinion that quality control could be conducted more systematically and on a larger scale, ensuring regular inspections at all sites where road construction is taking place.
