Model Law "On Creative Industries" of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the CIS is submitted for consideration to the participating countries
The agenda focused on the development of the creative economy in the Commonwealth countries, covering areas such as: cinema, design, light industry, folk arts and crafts, education, tourism, and related fields.
The Assembly adopted a model law "On Creative Industries" in the fall of 2025. The aim of this law is to promote the development of creative sectors, protect the rights of creative workers, and attract investment in cultural initiatives.
The document will now be sent to the parliaments of the Commonwealth countries for its implementation in national legislative systems.
