
The meeting of the city hall board took place in Bishkek, where the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and the Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliev, summarized the municipality's work for 2025 and discussed plans for 2026.
In his speech, Kasymaliev highlighted significant achievements in the socio-economic sphere, noting that over the past five years, the consolidated budget of the country has increased fivefold, reaching a record value of over 1 trillion soms. This creates additional opportunities for the modernization of the country.
The head of the cabinet emphasized that Bishkek is not only the capital but also a key financial center that makes a substantial contribution to the state budget. Of the 304 billion soms collected by the State Tax Service, 198.7 billion soms came from the capital, which accounts for about 65%. Kasymaliev expressed gratitude to all taxpayers working and living in Bishkek and urged law enforcement and fiscal authorities to stop baseless business inspections, emphasizing that this issue is under his control.

Kasymaliev added that from 1970 to 1990, Bishkek underwent significant architectural transformations, and today construction continues with similar intensity.

Additionally, Kasymaliev reported that this year, 32 new schools will be built in Bishkek.

Kasymaliev also addressed issues of the municipality's technical equipment. The city hall received 95 buses and 42 units of special equipment. Since 2021, 1,493 gas and electric buses have been purchased for the city. Over the past two years, utility services have received 446 units of new equipment.
