Today, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, held a phone conversation with the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
According to the information from the president's press service, during the conversation, the prospects for further strengthening friendly and neighborly relations between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, as well as comprehensive strategic partnership, were discussed.
The leaders of the two countries expressed satisfaction with the stable growth of trade turnover and progress in the implementation of joint infrastructure projects, including the construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway and the construction of the Kambaratinskaya HPP-1.
In addition, the presidents discussed current issues on the regional agenda and agreed on the schedule for upcoming bilateral and multilateral meetings.
