Residents of the district are expressing protests, claiming that the coal mining companies bring no benefits to the local budget and the region's economy.
In response to these concerns, the deputy proposed to create a commission under OJSC "Kyrgyzkomur" that will analyze the activities of the companies in the Koksuu Valley and also check the legality and appropriateness of the previously issued licenses.
