
On February 14 at 17:00, the audience will be able to see the opera-dastan "Ak-Moor" at the Abdyla Malbaev National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet in Kyrgyzstan.
Elena Myagkova, head of the literary and dramaturgical department of the theater, noted that the libretto, created by Akbar Ryskulov, is based on one of the popular folk legends. The story of "Ak-Moor" tells of a tragic love between the beautiful Ak-Moor and a simple jigit, Bolot, whose fate is threatened by the evil intentions of the wealthy Jantai-khan, leading to a sad ending.
The director is Iskender Sartbaev, a honored artist of the Kyrgyz Republic. The set designer is the people's artist of the Kyrgyz Republic Maratbek Sharafidinov, and the choreographer is Tilek Kiizbaev. The choir will be conducted by the honored artist of the Kyrgyz Republic Karagul Tilenchiev.
The orchestra will be conducted by the author of the work, the people's artist of the Kyrgyz Republic Jumakadir Kanimetov.
