Industrial production in Kyrgyzstan increased by 10.6% in 2025
The physical volume index compared to the previous year, 2024, was 110.6%, indicating an increase in industrial production of 10.6%.
In December 2025, the volume of industrial production amounted to 113 billion 234.6 million soms, and the physical volume index compared to December 2024 was 110.4%.
The increase in production volumes across various sectors was the main factor for the growth of industry this year. For example, the output of pharmaceutical products increased by 1.7 times. The production of rubber and plastic products, as well as construction materials, grew by 35.7%. The volumes of production of wooden and paper products, as well as printing products, increased by 30.5%.
Additionally, there was an increase in the production of food products (including beverages) and tobacco products by 30.1%, chemical products by 19.8%, and textiles, clothing, footwear, and leather goods by 9.6%. In the mining sector, volumes also increased by 14.2%.
