At the meeting, the main topic of discussion was the possibility of using railway infrastructure as an accessible and alternative option for the movement of citizens. Participants also considered proposals for launching new bus routes that would provide convenient transfers for passengers from bus stations and railway stations to various districts of the city. Thus, the integration of railway transport with the existing public transport system is planned.
Additionally, the implementation of digital technologies in the transportation sector was discussed, including GPS monitoring of train movements and displaying schedules for both railway and public transport in real-time on the mobile application "My City".
At the end of the meeting, instructions were given to the responsible structures, and further steps were outlined for the development of sustainable and alternative methods of passenger transport in Bishkek.
