President Sadyr Japarov, speaking before the deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, urged them to approach the discussed issues with care. He emphasized the need for a thorough evaluation of their statements before stepping up to the microphone.

The president stressed that it is important not just to raise topics for show, but to genuinely analyze how relevant and beneficial the raised issue is for the country.

The head of state reminded that on the day of taking the oath, he had already appealed to the deputies with a request to avoid discussions aimed solely at creating a positive image in the eyes of the public.

“One should not approach the microphone just because 100-200 people have gathered and started expressing discontent. It is important to consider whether the issue is truly significant and how it may affect the state. I strongly urge the deputies: before raising any issue, it is worth analyzing it — ‘measure seven times, cut once’ — to understand what benefit it will bring to the people and the state,” the president stated.

He also noted that if government actions genuinely provoke criticism, deputies have every right to raise these issues. At the same time, the president called for a more constructive dialogue when discussing relevant topics.

“If the people insist on a discussion, deputies can gather people in one hall, invite representatives of the government, organize a discussion, and only after that approach the microphone with an opinion,” he added.
