The Global Network of Jeffrey Epstein and His Connections with World Leaders
The publication of materials related to Epstein has caused public outcry.
According to data found in the documents, Epstein may have been connected with foreign intelligence agencies, including Israel's "Mossad," and used compromising materials to manipulate world leaders and representatives of royal dynasties.
The authors of the publications suggest that Epstein may have had ties to intelligence services, using collected evidence to influence politicians and businessmen from various corners of the world. Currently, there are no official confirmations of these claims.
The documents also contain correspondence from Epstein discussing the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi in Istanbul. It is mentioned that the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi may have participated in planning this crime to weaken the influence of his Saudi counterpart.
In unverified reports, Khashoggi's murder is described as "very ugly," hinting at the existence of video recordings that may have fallen into the hands of third parties.
In another part of the correspondence, dated 2012, the activation of Turkey's influence in the Eastern Mediterranean and the work of Israeli intelligence on the Kurdish issue are discussed.
Among those mentioned in the new documents are members of European royal families. For example, the name of Norwegian Crown Princess Mette-Marit repeatedly appears in correspondence with Epstein, raising interest in his personality. King Frederik of Denmark and Swedish Princess Sofia are also mentioned in connection with events where they met with Epstein. No official comments have been received from the royal houses regarding this matter.
The electronic correspondence also contains claims that Adolf Hitler may have received funding from three wealthy families, including the Rothschilds, but these data are not supported by serious research.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić expressed the opinion that the consequences of the Epstein scandal could exacerbate international relations, up to the threat of a U.S. strike on Iran, recalling the events of 1998 after the scandal with Bill Clinton.
U.S. President Donald Trump, whose name is also mentioned in the new materials, has faced criticism in the U.S. He previously denied any involvement in Epstein's crimes.
Experts emphasize that many of the new publications require further verification, and their content cannot be considered factual without official investigations.
Jeffrey Epstein was arrested in the U.S. in 2019 on charges of human trafficking and committed suicide in prison in August of the same year.
On Friday, 3 million pages of documents, 180,000 photographs, and 2,000 video recordings were released.
The publication came six weeks after the department missed the deadline set by Trump for the release of all documents related to the Epstein case.
U.S. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche stated that the publication marks the completion of the process of identifying and verifying documents to ensure transparency.
The released documents contain information about Epstein's time in prison, as well as materials from the investigation regarding his accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell.
Newly released emails were sent by Epstein to high-ranking officials.
“The Duke” and the Russian Woman
The documents reveal close ties between Epstein and British elites.
New materials contain letters between Epstein and a certain "Duke," discussing a dinner at Buckingham Palace and the possibility of meeting a 26-year-old Russian woman.
These letters are signed with the letter "A," which likely refers to the Duke of York.
The correspondence is dated August 2010, two years after Epstein was convicted of sexual offenses.
These letters do not contain evidence of illegal activities.
BBC reached out for comments from Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who previously had a friendly relationship with Epstein. He denied any wrongdoing.
Money and Mandelson
In other letters, it is mentioned that in 2009 Epstein transferred £10,000 to Lord Mandelson's partner, Reynaldo Avila da Silva.
In one letter, da Silva provides his banking details and expresses gratitude for the assistance.
Epstein replied that he would transfer the money, and da Silva thanked him in the next letter.
There is also correspondence where Lord Mandelson requests permission to stay at one of Epstein's properties.
These letters are dated June 16, 2009, when Epstein was already serving a sentence for crimes against minors but could work from the office.
In December 2024, Lord Mandelson became the UK ambassador to the U.S. but was soon dismissed after his correspondence with Epstein was discovered.
Mandelson has repeatedly expressed regret about his friendship with Epstein, claiming he did not notice any illegal activities.
Trump's Name Mentioned Multiple Times
In the new materials, President Trump is mentioned numerous times.
Although Trump was friends with Epstein, he claims that their friendship ended many years ago and denies any knowledge of his crimes.
Among the documents is a list of allegations made last year to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, many of which are unverified.
The list includes allegations of sexual assault against Trump, Epstein, and other high-ranking officials.
Trump does not acknowledge any offenses related to Epstein and is not accused of any crimes brought forth by Epstein's victims.
In response to the new allegations, the White House and the U.S. Department of Justice referred to a press release stating that some documents contain false accusations against Trump.
“If these allegations had any credibility, they would have been used against the president long ago,” the statement emphasizes.
Gates' Reaction
A representative for Bill Gates commented on the allegations contained in the new materials, calling them “absolutely absurd and completely false.”
Two emails, allegedly written by Epstein, are unclear if they were directed to Gates. Both emails were sent from Epstein's address and returned to the same address.
One email contains a resignation statement and mentions the need to acquire medication for the effects of contact with “Russian girls.”
The other email begins with “Dear Bill” and contains complaints about the end of friendship, as well as accusations of attempts to hide a sexually transmitted infection.
Gates' representative noted that these allegations come from a disgruntled liar and reflect Epstein's disappointment over the lack of a permanent relationship with Gates.
Have Epstein's Files Been Fully Released?
It is unclear whether the publication of documents from the Epstein case has been completed.
Deputy Attorney General Blanche stated that the publication concludes the document review process, but Democrats claim that the department is withholding many materials.
Congressman Ro Khanna expressed concerns that the department may be hiding around 2.5 million documents.
The Department of Justice has faced criticism for missing the deadline for publishing all materials, as required by law.
Many of the published materials contain significant redactions, and the department explains this as a protection for victims.
Blanche noted that work on the documents took more than two months to ensure their prompt publication.
Nevertheless, many suspect that there is a conspiracy aimed at protecting influential people connected to Epstein.
Blanche acknowledged that the publication of documents will not satisfy all requests for additional information and that the files lack the names of specific accused individuals.
