According to this document, the government intends to sign an intergovernmental agreement with Uzbekistan on the establishment of an international border crossing point at the state border in the Kara-Suu district of the Osh region.
The Cabinet of Ministers plans to begin construction of the border crossing point using funds from the republican budget after signing the relevant agreement, with the aim of completing all activities by December 1, 2026.
The implementation of this plan will be carried out with the support of the following agencies:
- State Customs Service;
- Border Service of the State Committee for National Security;
- Ministry of Transport and Communications;
- Ministry of Foreign Affairs;
- Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry;
- Ministry of Health;
- Plenipotentiary Representation of the President in the Osh region.
