- A new border crossing point may be established in the Kara-Suu district, located on the border with Uzbekistan. This statement was made as part of a plan approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2026, which encompasses the implementation of the National Development Program of the country until 2030.

According to this document, the government intends to sign an intergovernmental agreement with Uzbekistan on the establishment of an international border crossing point at the state border in the Kara-Suu district of the Osh region.

The Cabinet of Ministers plans to begin construction of the border crossing point using funds from the republican budget after signing the relevant agreement, with the aim of completing all activities by December 1, 2026.
