The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the head of the presidential administration, Adylbek Kasymaliev, held an introductory meeting regarding the activities of the National Investment Fund. This information was provided by the government press service.
During his visit, he met with the staff of the fund, where the need for effective and coordinated functioning of the organization was emphasized. It was also noted that the Fund must continue to demonstrate high achievements in attracting investments and implementing key economic projects that contribute to the sustainable development of the country's economy.
As part of the meeting, major investment initiatives in areas such as hydropower, agriculture, and industry were presented to Kasymaliev. Special attention was given to supporting small and medium-sized business projects, which play an important role in job creation, regional development, and the formation of a competitive economy.
According to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On the National Investment Fund," the presidential decree dated June 14, 2024, No. 155, and the Fund's charter approved by the Cabinet of Ministers' resolution dated November 5, 2024, No. 666, the main objectives of the Fund are to enhance the efficiency of managing enterprises within its group, ensure their sustainable growth, and increase investment attractiveness, including through attracting long-term investments in domestic and international capital markets.
