Sadyk Sher-Niyaz, the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to France and the Permanent Representative of the country to the UN on UNESCO matters, as well as a professional film director and producer, has developed an innovative technology for constructing houses from lightweight structures—monoblocks, which has already been patented.

In an interview with AKIpress, he shared that this solution is an alternative to light steel thin-walled structures (LSTC), SIP panels, and other construction technologies popular in Finland and Canada.

The creation of this technology was inspired by the architectural concept of the Kyrgyz yurt.

Sher-Niyaz emphasizes: “Our yurt is the most durable structure that has proven its resilience for centuries.”
The process of erecting a lightweight house is carried out in record time based on the Lego principle. Construction is not dependent on weather conditions, which allows avoiding seasonal restrictions. Additionally, the structure allows for the use of various thermal insulation materials for filling or insulation.

“We face the issue that building housing takes too much time and resources. It is necessary to change the approach to construction. In the modern world, which is rapidly evolving, it is important to adapt and form a new philosophy that will be more rational and economical,” he believes.

This technology significantly reduces costs not only for wall construction but also for the foundation. Due to the lightweight structure, the load on the foundation is reduced, which can lower foundation expenses by 30-40%. Furthermore, due to the correct geometry of the roof, it is possible to use ready-made solutions, which speeds up the installation.
The roof installation technology developed by Sher-Niyaz is already actively used in the USA and Russia. In Kyrgyzstan, similar solutions are not yet widespread, and instead of ready-made truss systems, traditional brick structures are often used, leading to problems with quality and accuracy of installation.

The assembly of single-story houses, garages, and utility buildings from monoblocks resembles a constructor set. Lightweight blocks, precise joints, and high assembly speed allow one person to erect walls without the need for a team or complex tools.
