In order to stimulate tourism, Kazakhstan and Israel intend to abolish the visa regime. This became known from a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as reported by Tengri Travel.
Ermek Kosherbaev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, held a meeting with Gideon Saar, his Israeli counterpart, who visited Astana on an official visit.
“During the visit, the 12th round of political consultations took place between the ministries of the two countries, where current international and regional issues were discussed, as well as initiatives aimed at promoting peaceful resolution and building trust in the Middle East,” the ministry reported.
As a result of these consultations, a memorandum of intent was signed to conclude an agreement between the governments of Kazakhstan and Israel, exempting holders of national passports from visa requirements, with the aim of developing tourism exchanges.
