
At a press conference held on Tuesday, Suleimenova emphasized that after discussions with the teaching community and an analysis of the current situation, it was decided to suspend the reform. This is necessary for children to receive quality education in the digital world. She noted: "All subjects will be studied separately."
It was previously discussed that under the new state educational standard, algebra and geometry could be combined into one discipline, while subjects such as physics, chemistry, and biology could be merged into "natural sciences." There were also plans to combine world history and fundamentals of law into "social sciences."
However, after thorough analysis and discussions with educators, it was decided to leave everything as it is.
