- Over the past five years, electricity consumption in Kyrgyzstan has increased by 25%, reports the Ministry of Energy.

In 2020, the republic consumed 15.4 billion kWh of electricity. By 2025, this figure is expected to reach 19.3 billion kWh, which means an increase of 4 billion kWh over five years.

In 2021, consumption was 16.3 billion kWh,

in 2022 — 16.1 billion kWh,

according to the results of 2023 — 17.2 billion kWh,

in 2024, total consumption in the country will reach 18.3 billion kWh.
