The Committee on Constitutional Legislation and State Structure, as well as Local Self-Government and the Regulations of the Jogorku Kenesh, held a meeting to discuss a draft resolution on a new version of the text and music of the National Anthem of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Members of the commission responsible for selecting the most suitable version of the anthem participated in the meeting, headed by the Minister of Culture, Information, Sports, and Youth Policy, Mirbek Mambetaliev.

Kurmanqul Zulushiev, the Chairman of the Committee, reported that three versions of the text and musical accompaniment of the anthem had been presented to the parliament for consideration.
Minister Mambetaliev spoke about the commission's work process and noted that commission members, including Chynaru Umetalieva and Syrtbay Musaev, highlighted the complexity of the task, as not every composer is capable of creating an anthem. "Over the year, we evaluated all submitted works and ultimately selected three options," they added.

Zulushiev emphasized once again that none of the proposed options surpassed the current anthem in terms of text, content, and musical performance, making them unsuitable for adoption.
Deputy Nurlanbek Azygaliev stated that the anthem should inspire citizens and reflect common values. He proposed extending the competition to allow for the submission of stronger and more spiritually aligned works.
As a result of the discussion, the Committee concluded that all three versions of the text and music of the anthem should be rejected by the Jogorku Kenesh.
