"624,000 Tons of Coal Delivered from the Karakete Coal Mine to the 'Kyrgyzkomur' Base in Balakchy in 2025, - Ministry of Energy"
Director of the coal base, Adilet Esenov, informed the minister about the operations of the loading and unloading point (LUP) in Balykchy. Currently, the LUP stores 26,000 tons of coal dust intended for the Bishkek heat and power plant (HPP), as well as 2,000 tons of graded coal for city coal bases.
Ibraev also familiarized himself with the operations of the coal base's motor vehicle fleet. The fleet currently consists of 50 HOWO trucks. In addition, 4 front loaders and 1 excavator operate around the clock at the LUP, ensuring uninterrupted reception, storage, and shipment of coal. During 2025, a total of 624,000 tons of coal were transported to the OJSC "Kyrgyzkomur" coal base in Balykchy from the "Kara-Keche" mine, of which 130.1 thousand tons were delivered by the branch's trucks, amounting to 5,500 trips.
In January 2026, 77.4 thousand tons of coal (1,214 wagons) were sent to the Bishkek HPP, which is almost in line with the planned 80 thousand tons.
