The import of new cars increased by 12 percent compared to 2024. More than 80 percent of the new cars were assembled in China. At the same time, among used cars, the share of Chinese assembly was only 13.3 percent, while 83.5 percent were of Japanese production.
As for the supply of new cars, 49.8 percent of them came through Kyrgyzstan, while 33.8 percent were imported directly from China. Small volumes also came from Japan, as well as through Belarus and Georgia.
The majority of used Toyotas (71 percent) were imported from Japan, while 15 percent came from China, 4.2 percent from the Emirates, 2.8 percent from Georgia, and 2.2 percent from South Korea.
