President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov held a meeting today with the heads of major construction companies, as well as with representatives of government agencies and the Bishkek city administration.
According to the president's press service, the meeting was conducted in an open dialogue format. Key issues concerning the fulfillment of obligations by developers and the need to improve the legal framework regulating the construction sector were discussed.
During the meeting, the president gave specific instructions to the Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services Nurdana Oruntaev and the Mayor of Bishkek Aibek Junushaliev.
Sadyr Japarov emphasized the importance of the conscientious work of construction companies, stressing that developers must act openly and honestly. He noted that violations of obligations to citizens are unacceptable, citing examples of the activities of certain companies where violations have occurred.
Additionally, the president recommended holding such meetings regularly so that emerging issues could be resolved promptly, rather than accumulating them.
