On January 21, a meeting took place in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, between the Director of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Jumakadyrov uulu Seytek, and the head of the European Union representation in Kyrgyzstan, Remi Duflo.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, the agenda of the meeting included important issues related to Kyrgyz-European cooperation in the consular sphere. The aspects of visa policy, protection of the rights and interests of citizens, as well as the exchange of experience in digitalization and modern methods of migration management were discussed.
As a result of the meeting, the parties confirmed their interest in maintaining regular dialogue and further strengthening cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the European Union.
