"Kyrgyz Export" plans to organize exhibitions in Russia, the UAE, and Europe to promote Kyrgyz companies in foreign markets
According to Jumaliev, last year Kyrgyzstan participated in over 30 exhibitions in the territory of the Russian Federation. As a result of these events, export contracts were signed for a total amount of more than 400 million soms, involving more than 1,500 enterprises.
“This year, if circumstances allow, we intend to attract even more companies. We are expanding our horizons. In addition to Russia, last year we also visited Dubai in the UAE, from where we have already started receiving orders from various retail chains and hotels. We are also beginning to enter European markets, including Germany, Lithuania, Latvia, and France. It is important to note that high-quality products are required for these markets,” he emphasized.
He added that for exporting, entrepreneurs will need to prepare a number of documents, such as a certificate of conformity, a declaration of conformity, and a certificate of origin. These documents must be obtained within the established timeframes from the relevant institutions.
The Deputy Director emphasized that working with companies from Germany and France requires the presence of the international standard ISO 9001, which is costly for entrepreneurs. This year, with the successful implementation of projects, the center intends to reimburse part of the expenses for obtaining this standard — up to 30% or 50%.
Moreover, "Kyrgyz Export" supports the implementation of special standards and concepts. The organization has partners, including the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. As Jumaliev noted, some companies are already operating according to international standards, although they are still few, as the implementation of standards requires significant financial investments.
