The Ministry of Energy proposed to the consortium GPRC, NRP, and KCG to build a thermal power plant at coal deposits.

- During a meeting with the leadership of the consortium, represented by Talaybek Ibraev, the Minister of Energy discussed the possibility of implementing this project with Konstantin Panovko and Alexander Ong.

During the discussion, the Minister suggested considering options for constructing thermal power plants (TPPs) using the resources of coal deposits in Kyrgyzstan.

The representatives of the consortium expressed their readiness to develop, finance, and construct three thermal power plants, each with a capacity of 350 MW. Thus, the total installed capacity will amount to 1050 MW, utilizing clean coal technologies that meet international standards.

They also noted that they have experience in implementing similar projects for the construction of TPPs.
