Erdogan Played Basketball with NBA Legend Shaquille O'Neal

On January 20, an informal meeting took place in Istanbul between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and four-time NBA champion Shaquille O’Neal, reports Anadolu Agency.
The meeting was held at the Turkcell Basketball Development Center. Here, the head of state and the legendary basketball player spent time playing basketball with young athletes, and then signed several balls that became memorable souvenirs.
Erdogan and O’Neal also took joint photos with the young players.

High-ranking officials were present at the event, including Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan, Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Aşkın Bak, head of the National Intelligence Organization (MİT) İbrahim Kalın, Deputy Chairman of the Justice and Development Party Halit Yerebakan, as well as deputies of the Grand National Assembly from the ruling party — Mustafa Varank, Cüneyt Yüksel, Alpay Özalan, Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu, and Unal Karaman.
