
Data on the most drinking and the most sober countries in the world have been presented on the World Population Review portal.
The championship for alcohol consumption is led by countries in Eastern and Central Europe. Romania ranks first (17.1 liters of pure alcohol per person per year), followed by Georgia (15.5 liters) and Latvia (14.7 liters). Among the CIS countries, the highest alcohol consumption is recorded in Moldova (14.1 liters), Belarus (11.4 liters), and Russia (10.5 liters).
