
In the Indian capital, at the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan, a meeting took place where Ambassador Askar Beshimov discussed cooperation issues with representatives of the Indian business community and cultural sphere. Among the participants were the founder of Pythian Games Bijender Goel and the president of the Global Trade & Technology Council of India (GTTCI) Gaurav Gupta.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported that during the meeting, emphasis was placed on expanding Kyrgyz-Indian relations, including cooperation within the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). In particular, the participation of the Indian delegation in the World Delphi Games, scheduled for March 24-27, 2026, in Kyrgyzstan was discussed.
During the conversation, Askar Beshimov and Bijender Goel also addressed organizational matters related to the preparation for the games, as well as the possibilities for presenting Indian cultural heritage.
Gaurav Gupta, in turn, shared plans for a business delegation visit from GTTCI to Kyrgyzstan, scheduled for late February 2026. The purpose of the visit will be to establish new partnerships and develop joint projects in areas such as information technology, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, tourism, and clean energy. Ambassador Beshimov expressed his readiness to support the organization of meetings with the relevant structures.
