The Ground Transportation Department inspected over 1 million vehicles in 2025 and fined 126 million soms.

“During the inspections, numerous violations of transport legislation were recorded. As a result, 10,367 protocols were drawn up, and the total amount of fines imposed reached 126.2 million soms, which is 60% more compared to the same period last year,” the agency reports.
The Department emphasizes that the growth in indicators is associated with stricter control over transport, an increase in the number of weight and dimension posts, and a rise in the volume of transportation both within the country and beyond its borders.
