According to Lebedev, the CIS countries view ensuring energy security as one of the key aspects of their state policy and an important area of cooperation.
He also noted that in October 2025, the "Declaration on Cooperation in Ensuring Regional Energy Security" was adopted, initiated by Russia, which aims to comprehensively address these issues.
