The economist emphasized that reducing the tax burden on vehicle transactions will help accelerate the buying and selling process for both new and used cars. Additionally, the cancellation of taxes on spare parts and vehicles will create additional opportunities for re-export and help develop domestic production in the international market.
Regarding the 6% tax on property rental, Igamberdiyev stated that its introduction will allow for the legalization of certain incomes and bring the market out of the shadows. He also noted that, despite previous price increases in the housing sector, a decrease in prices is possible in the coming months due to reduced demand.
According to Igamberdiyev, the successful implementation of the new package of measures depends on the quality of administrative management and the ability to compensate for short-term fiscal losses by expanding the tax base in the future.
“These measures are aimed at both the legalization of incomes and the improvement of institutional conditions and the enhancement of investment attractiveness. They also support domestic demand, which in turn should have a positive impact on the country's economic development,” he added.
