In Chui Region, young people hijacked a car and caused an accident

An criminal case has been registered regarding this incident under Article 211 (Theft of a Motor Vehicle) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.

During operational-search activities, the police identified the suspects: N.A. (born in 2006), N.M. (born in 2009), and Sh.B. (born in 2008). All of them were taken to the Internal Affairs Department of the Issyk-Ata district for further investigative actions.

The investigation revealed that these young people stole the specified vehicle, which subsequently was involved in a traffic accident — the car overturned.

N.A. was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility, while for the minors N.M. and Sh.B., a preventive measure was chosen in the form of being placed under parental supervision.

The investigation is ongoing.
