Restrictions on the operation of methane filling stations are being reintroduced in Uzbekistan

Restrictions on the operation of methane filling stations are being reintroduced in Uzbekistan

According to the press service of the Ministry of Energy, methane filling stations will operate on a new schedule from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, starting January 8, it is reported.

The reason for the introduction of restrictions is the decrease in pressure in the main gas pipelines.

Temporary restrictions on the operation of methane filling stations are necessary to ensure uninterrupted gas supply to residential and social facilities, the statement says.

In the Fergana Valley region, the operating mode of the filling stations will be determined based on the gas pressure level and in coordination with local authorities.

The Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan noted that the restrictions are temporary. Work is currently underway to restore normal gas pressure.
