Kyrgyzstan's Export Directions

In the export sector, Russia remains a key partner, accounting for 22 percent (which is $27.9 million), while Kazakhstan follows with a share of 21.9 percent ($27.8 million). Uzbekistan rounds out the top three with 13 percent ($16.5 million).

Switzerland is in fourth place (12.8 percent — $16.2 million), and China is only in fifth (8.4 percent — $10.6 million).

The foreign trade turnover of Kyrgyzstan in January 2026 amounted to $1 billion 52.9 million, which is 2 percent more compared to the previous year.

The high share of trade with EAEU countries (37.7 percent) provides some stability, but dependence on supplies from third countries remains critical (62.3 percent).
