On March 27, during a meeting with farmers and livestock exporters from the Jalal-Abad, Osh, and Batken regions, the Chairman of the State Tax Service, Alambet Shykmamatov, discussed current issues related to the reassessment of taxes on the export of livestock products.

According to the State Tax Service, a law was previously adopted that reduced the amount of reassessed tax to 20%. At the same time, the remaining 80% of taxes, as well as fines and penalties, could be written off.

However, according to entrepreneurs, even 20% of the total sales amount represents a significant financial burden. They noted that with the appropriate primary documents, the profit tax could be calculated based on the difference between the purchase and sale price, which would amount to about 10%.

As a result of the discussion, Alambet Shykmamatov proposed to amend the legislation to reduce the reassessed tax for livestock exporters to 3%. He emphasized that the well-being of entrepreneurs plays a key role in the stability and sustainable development of the country's economy.

The head of the State Tax Service stressed: "Our main task is to ensure legality, fair taxation, and order."

The proposal received support from businessmen, as noted by the State Tax Service.
